Come and share your art or art that inspires you! Our meetups are informal discussions. Some of us bring works in-progress (of any kind or degree of completion) to share and discuss. Sometimes we bring pre-existing works that have had a significant impact on us.
We are a diverse and multidisciplinary artistic community in British Columbia’s lower mainland. We’d love to see your work at this month’s West Coast Creative’s Salon!
This month’s first presenter is Miya Bah, who will be presenting some recent textile projects that experiment with light, optics, and visual texture.
Refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
What do our Salons look like?
It’s really an informal discussion! Some of us bring works in-progress (of any kind or degree of completion) to share and discuss. Sometimes we bring pre-existing works that have had a significant impact on us. Occasionally, we will talk about ideas for new projects or simply sharing what has been on our mind lately. Career planning and artistic professional development is also occasionally discussed and several of our members have drawn inspiration and direction from these dialogues.
To enrich the variety of our Salons, we have a rotating roster of Salon hosts from numerous different artistic backgrounds and perspectives. Feel free to join us just to observe and soak in our format!
